4.       A.G.’Guy’ Pawson. Lived at Saints Hill later in a flat in Penshurst Place. Worked in London; before the war played cricket for Oxford University and Somerset. Champion fly fisherman.

5.       S.A.Merriman. Butler/cook at for Viscount Hardinge at South Park. Notable footballer for Penshurst Park FC.

10.   W.Gordon Goodwin.  Farmer at Elliotts farm. Had a herd of Guernsey cows and a retail milk round, also hop grower.
